If you know Blackpool and the pier across from the Pleasure Beach then you will have seen the Skycoaster. Basically you are strapped into a parachute type harness, then hoisted about 100 feet into the air. Pull the ripcord and then swing like a pendulum at speeds approaching 70mph skimming the pier deck by 6 feet then soaring up over the edge and over the water. It is like sky-diving and hang gliding rolled into one and it is just pure excitement. This was one of my first images done away back in 1997 and is just a montage of images found on the net plus my friends and I on the Skycoaster. Sci-fi fans will spot Babylon 5, my all time favourite TV programme.
