My latest montage and it was very much a labour of love. I presented it to my mother at 7.30 p.m. on the Saturday night when we went to dinner to celebrate her birthday. I was still working on it at 6 p.m. and luckily I had the frame prepared. It's all layers and I have counted 43 separate layers but I was able to group a load together like the images within the reel of film. The picture contains all the people important in her life like her sisters, her parents, her husband (my father), her kids (my siblings and I) and her Grandchildren (my daughter and my neice) and a couple of others as well as pctures of herself through the years. The big surprise for her was the image of the house in which she was born. That is the faint image of the house on the right of the picture. The other faint house just behind the 0 in the 02 of the date is the house where she lives now.
It was a complex and painstaking piece of work but well worth the effort.
