I don't get very many commissions but when I do, I am very grateful and when I was asked to do this job for a Glasgow Motor firm I was chuffed to bits as it represented my first job for an actual firm rather than individuals. OK, it helped that the owner is married to my cousin and I had previously done a montage for his son's 21st birthday. Saying that, a job is a job. The actual commission was to be used as a promotional tool to try and help Cab Direct push into London with the new Peugeot E7. Framed copies of the print were sent to the bosses of Peugeot in France, so that makes me a little proud. I did indicate that the picture could not be used commercially as the background images were "borrowed" from various websites. The actual taxis however were taken by me at the Glasgow HQ of Cab Direct. Sadly, it is not Tony Blair hailing a taxi, just his head attached to Cab Direct staff member. As yet I don't know what the outcome was regarding the E7 but this picture is one I am particularly proud of.
