I was commissioned to do something to celebrate the centenary of Lodge Polkemment no 927. The brief was to incorporate all the living past masters and the reigning master and the square and compass but he actual design was left up to me. I was given 32 individual photos of the masters, of various sizes and quality all of which had to be scanned, cropped and enhanced. The square and compass were created from scratch but they took a long time to get the desired effect. Even though I am not a member of the Masonic Lodge, this work is probably the one which I am most proud of. The client and his "brothers" were delighted and admitted it was not what was expected; it was better. The full size framed version (roughly A2 size) hangs on the 927 Temple.
